Authorities investigating unrelated killings in Minneapolis

Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Two people are dead after a stabbing and a shooting in south Minneapolis overnight. Police say they are not related.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Blaisdell Avenue South around 11:40 Friday night where they found a man who had been shot to death.

No one has been arrested.

Witnesses tell us police have been to this home numerous times before.

About 2 1/2 hours later police responded to a report of a domestic fight and found a woman with stab wounds.

She was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center and later died from her injuries.

Police are looking for suspects in both cases.
