Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) -The BCA has handed its investigation into an officer-involved shooting in Grand Rapids over to the Crow Wing County Attorney's office.
The incident happened on the 4th of July during a high speed chase through Itasca County.
Police say a Grand Rapids officer opened fire during the chase in an attempt to end the pursuit, but no one was injured.
The teen boy behind the wheel is charged with five felonies, three of them for use of deadly force against a peace officer in the Grand Rapids chase.
Police say the teen was under the influence of acid.
The Itasca County Sheriff's Office wants to try the suspect as an adult.
