Grand Rapids, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- A 44 year old Bovey man has plead guilty after burglaries and thefts he allegedly committed in Itasca and Koochiching Counties between November of 2010 and August of 2011.
Richard Charles Giles pled guilty to four counts of felony Third Degree Burglary, one count of felony Second Degree Burglary, one count of felony Receiving Stolen Property, once count of felony Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and one count of felony Fifth Degree Controlled Substance Crime.
Giles still has pending felony charges in Aitkin County.
Giles' plea agreement states that he must receive a prison sentence of 41 to 57 months on the Second Degree Burglary charge.
Giles will also be ordered to pay restitution , pay mandatory minimum fines, and provide a DNA sample.
If Giles pays $15,000 toward restitution at the time of his sentencing, he will be allowed to argue for a sentence outside the guideline range.
Giles' next court appearance will be on December 3.
