Carlton Co., MN (Northland's NewsCenter) A 74-year-old Carlton County man was sentenced Wednesday for a sexual assault charge related to inappropriate contact with two children.
Jacob Victor Hatanpaa pleaded guilty to one count of second degree Criminal Sexual Conduct for sexual contact with two girls, under 16 years of age, in their home in Carlton.
Hatanpaa was sentenced to spend one year in the North East Regional Correctional Center and serve five years of supervised probation.
