Walker, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Authorities seized almost 20 grams of meth, a small amount of suspected heroin and a large amount of cash, after a traffic stop in Cass County on Sunday.

On September 2, a Cass County Sheriff initiated a traffic stop on State Highway 64 in Southern Cass County.

After a short pursuit, the vehicle stopped near County Road 20 in Ansel Township.

Driver of the vehicle, a 30 year old man from Minneapolis, and a 31 year old woman passenger of St. Paul were arrested on outstanding warrants.

After an execution of a search warrant, deputies located approximately 20 grams of meth, a small amount of suspected heroin and prescription medications.

Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch says the street value of the meth would equal almost $4000.

A large amount of cash was also found.

The investigation is ongoing and formal charges are pending.
