Carlton, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A 26 year old Cloquet man has been sentenced to 3 years behind bars for shooting at two people on the Fond du Lac Reservation.

Patrick Charles Lussier will have to spend about 2 years and 10 months at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud after he pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Terroristic Threats.

According to the criminal complaint, Lussier discharged a silver, .22 caliber handgun at two people back in November 2012.

The incident started when another person apparently refused to give Lussier a ride to Duluth.

The complaint says this made him angry, causing Lussier to brandish his gun, and threaten others. The complaint says he stated that he's a member of the Native Mob, then discharged his gun.

He followed up, by making intimidating calls with homicidal intentions, according to witnesses.
