Duluth Foster Care's License Revoked after Reports of Sex Abuse

July 24, 2013 Updated Jul 24, 2013 at 7:31 PM CDT

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Duluth foster home is under scrutiny by the state after reports of alleged child sex abuse took place last summer.

The Minnesota Department of Human Service this week revoked the license of the Denfeld home, run by Barbara Randolph this week.

The document says Randolph was aware of the abuse and failed to report it to authorities.

Her son, 28-year-old Michael James Randolph, faces a felony charge of criminal sexual conduct in connection with the case.

The foster care provider has 10 days to appeal the revocation.

She is allowed to run the business during that time.
