Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A 56-year-old Duluth man was arrested Tuesday night after crashing his motorcycle while attempting to flee a Minnesota State Trooper.
The state trooper saw the motorcycle heading northbound on Central Entrance just before 9:30 Tuesday night. He attempted to pull over the motorcyclist for having no rear light and old registration.
The motorcycle slowed at first, then stopped while northbound on Arlington, but took off after the trooper approached on foot to make contact. A high-speed chase ensued down Rice Lake Road until the biker lost control near College Street.
The suspect was taken to Essentia-Health St. Mary's Duluth and treated for minor road rash injuries. He was then booked into the St. Louis County Jail with charges pending.
