Duluth Man Arrested for Gas Station Burglary

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- A 26-year-old Duluth man was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly robbing the Highland BP Gas Station on East Central Entrance.

The male suspect, wearing all black and a ski mask, came into the store around 3 AM and grabbed the clerk by the shirt and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect left on foot westbound with an undisclosed amount of stolen money and lottery tickets. No one was injured in the incident.

Around 11 Wednesday morning, the Duluth Police Violent Crimes Unit Investigators located the suspect at the Little Store on Trinity Road.

He was arrested and transported to the St. Louis County jail awaiting charges of felony simple robbery, felony lottery fraud and tampering with a motor vehicle.
