Duluth Police looking for suspect who tried to grab a woman Monday night

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Duluth Police need your help to find a suspect who reportedly tried to grab a woman Monday night along the 1700 Block of East 1st Street.

A woman told police that she was out for a run around 8:15pm when she was approached by a man looking for help to find a house. The woman said that the man then tried to grab her hand and pull her toward him.

After a brief struggle, the woman says she was able to run away.

The suspect is described as a white man, skinny, 6 feet tall, with a deep voice, scruffy face, big nose, and wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt.

The Duluth Police Department reminds residents to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to 911.
