Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Nearly a dozen police cruisers responded to a call at a home along East Skyline Parkway Thursday night.

The initial police call indicated a possible home invasion at the home, which Duluth Police now tell the Northland's NewsCenter is unfounded.

The reporting party also indicated sounds of shots fired and the possibility of someone down. Duluth Police Sgt. Brad Wick says the reporting party will undergo an evaluation at the hospital.

Duluth Police, St. Louis Co. Sheriff and the MN State Patrol responded. They cleared the scene just before 9:40 p.m.
