Grand Rapids, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A Grand Rapids teen has pleaded guilty to two charges related to a high speed chase last summer.

The 17-year-old boy led police on a pursuit from the town of Blackberry through Grand Rapids where authorities say the suspect attempted to run police off the road.

An officer fired a shot at the teen's vehicle during the chase.

Itasca County court Thursday, the teen pleaded guilty to two of five charges, including fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and to Fourth Degree Driving While Impaired.
