St. Paul, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A 26 year old Maplewood, MN man has been charged for allegedly shooting and killing a college student who responded to an ad on Craigslist.

According to our partners at KARE 11, Steven Emmanuel Lewis was charged with second degree murder and first degree aggravated robbery in connection with the fatal shooting of 19 year old college student Aung Thu Bo.

Authorities say that Bo was responding to an ad on Craigslist for an iPhone Saturday afternoon when he was shot. Bo and his girlfriend drove to meet up with Lewis, who allegedly posted the iPhone ad. Lewis asked Bo if he would drive him back to his house so he could pick up the iPhone.

Police say Lewis got in the backseat of Bo's car where he allegedly robbed Bo and his girlfriend before shooting Bo in the head.

Bo was taken to Regions Hospital where he died from his injuries.

Lewis is being held on $500,000 bail.

Ramsey County officials say Lewis has four prior felony convictions.
