Officers located the suspect at 26th Avenue West and First Street at 4:19 p.m.

Carter admitted being at Horseshoe Billiards and getting into an altercation with the owner. He also admitted running back to his hotel room and changing clothes at the Motel 6 before getting arrested.

Officers had taken a burglary report that happened at a nearby business earlier in the day.

Police Investigators executed a search warrant on Carter’s hotel room and located the items from both burglaries.
