Man pleads guilty to attempted murder charge in connection to incident at Duluth business

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)--- One of the men charged in connection with a shooting at a Duluth cell phone store in December of last year has pleaded guilty.

32-year-old Robert William Neft pleaded guilty to one count of 2nd degree Attempted homicide today in Duluth

As part of a plea agreement, an additional charge of aggravated 1st degree robbery was dismissed.

29 year Brandon James Tyson is facing the same charges as Neft in connection with the incident which happened at the I-L-F smartphone Clinic on London Road on December 23rd.

Business owner Colin Mackin, was shot after a struggle with the suspects outside the business.

Mackin made a full recovery, and returned to work about a week after being shot.

Neft is scheduled for sentencing on April 14th.

Meanwhile, Tyson has a plea hearing on Monday, March 17.
