Virginia, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Three men have been charged for a rash of burglaries and thefts in Virginia.

Benjamin George Orbeck, 28, is charged with two felony counts, one for receiving stolen property and one for financial transaction card fraud.

Matthew Kenneth Hoff, 18, is charged with two felonies, receiving stolen property and financial transaction card fraud. He is also charged with gross misdemeanor theft.

Tyler Joseph Cardiff-Nicholl, 24, is charged with one felony count of receiving stolen property.

The Virginia Police Department reported that the men have been living in the city for a few weeks, and have committed a large number of crimes.

Authorities recovered more than $3000 in stolen items and were able to trace them to their rightful owner.

Police do not believe the men are responsible for all of the burglaries and car prowls in Virginia the past few weeks, and remind the public to keep their houses, garages, and cars locked.

Anyone with information is asked to call (218) 748 7510.
