Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The two men involved in a shooting incident at the I-L-F smartphone Clinic on London Road in Duluth last December were sentenced Monday afternoon.

Thirty two-year-old Robert William Neft and 30-year-old Brandon James Tyson were both sentenced to 12.5 years in prison for second degree attempted murder.

According to the criminal complaint, when officers arrived, they found Colin Mackin, the owner of the business, struggling to breathe due to a gunshot wound to his chest.

The complaint states that Neft admitted that he and Tyson were in the store earlier in the day and came back that night with the intent to rob the place.

Both men will serve their time at the St. Cloud correctional facility.

The men received credit for 112 days already served.
