Missing Boy Found, Father Hospitalized; Mother Says Son is Safe

Stoney Brook, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department the two were located early Sunday morning in the Stoney Brook area.

The two were located in a rural cabin on Lost Lake near Anderson Road in Stoney Brook Township.

James Nordrum Jr. is currently being treated at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth for self inflicted neck injuries. He is currently listed in stable condiiton.

Authorities say Nordrum Jr. is in custody for kidnapping and deprevation of parental rights.

Wyatt has been reunited with is mother.

The Northland's NewsCenter reached out to Candice Nordrum, Wyatt's mother, who responded saying Wyatt is home safe and will be starting school tomorrow.

She expressed thanks for those who had a hand in helping her son return safely.

Authorities say they were able to locate the two with help from tips from the public.
