Carlton, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- Murder charges are dismissed against a juvenile that was previously charged with 2nd Degree Murder in connection with the homicide of Cristyna Watson in Cloquet.

Carlton County Attorney Thom Perlter says that new evidence from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension prompted his office to drop all charges against 17-year-old Joesph Yellow.

According to a juvenile petition that was dropped, Yellow stood accused of personally assisted with strangling Watson and helping conceal the body on the Fond du Lac Reservation, off of Reservation Road.

22-year-old Michael Siewert of Duluth of still charged with 2nd Degree Murder in connection with that crime.

Police say Cristyna Watson was missing for about a month before authorities found her found body outside a home on the Fond du Lac Reservation in October.
