Danbury, WI (Northland's NewsCenter) - The Burnett County District Attorney has filed charges against the parents of the 3-year-old girl who accidentally drowned in Danbury, Wisconsin.
But the parents were no where to be found Friday night.
According to court records obtained by KARE 11, Jenna Danish and Thomas Williams have been charged with felony child neglect resulting in the death of Reena Mae Williams.
In August, dozens of friends and neighbors mounted a search for the little girl.
Her body was found in a canal hours after a neighbor says he spotted her walking in the street barefoot.
A judge still needs to approve the arrest warrants for both Danish and Williams, according to the Burnett County Sheriff Dean Roland.
Danish and Williams each face up to 25 years in prison if convicted.
