Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- A newspaper Executive is serving a year-long probation after being caught in a prostitution sting.
49-year-old Todd R. Keute, the regional operations manager of the Superior Publishing Company, pleaded guilty to prostitution in a public place.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by the Duluth News Tribune, Keute met with a prostitute he contacted on a website in a Duluth motel room.
He was taken into custody in the sting conducted by the Lake Superior Drug and Gang Task Force.
Terms of his sentence include taking part in a program that provides services and resources to prostitutes and exploited women and girls.
Superior Publishing Company runs papers such as Grand Rapids Herald, Mesabi Daily News and the Ashland Daily Press.
