Police Looking for Suspect in Motel Robbery

Blackduck, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities are investigating a robbery at a motel in Beltrami County and need your help locating a suspect.

According to the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office, authorities responded to the call of a robbery at the AmericInn Motel in Blackduck, MN on Monday around 7:20pm.

Authorities say a man entered the motel through the front lobby and demanded cash from the clerk.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect left on foot headed west toward the American Legion.

The suspect is described as being six foot tall, possibly in his early 20's with a deep voice. Witnesses say he was wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a bright orange mask covering his face.

The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the suspect in this robbery. If you have any information on this incident, you are asked to call the Beltrami Sheriff's Office.
