Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) -- A registered sex offender will be released on January 29 and will reside in Superior, police say.
37-year-old Phillip E, Bacon will be living in the 1000 block of N. 16th Street.
Bacon was convicted of False Imprisonment, 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Felon in Possession of a Firearm in 2002.
Bacon has been incarcerated since that time in the Wisconsin Prison System.
In 1999, Bacon was convicted of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault.
Bacon will be released from secure custody on January 29 and will be under the supervision of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office.
A community meeting is not planned.
