Shots Fired Sunday Morning in Duluth

Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -- Duluth Police are investigating an incident involving shots fired on Sunday morning.

Around 5 a.m., Police responded to a disturbance call in the 2600 block of West 4th Street.

Officers say they heard shots being fired upon arrival.

At the same time, several calls were made to 911 about shots being fired in the area of 27th Avenue West and 2nd Street.

Investigation revealed two shell casings located in the 2600 block of West 4th Street and a bullet found in a car tire.

Also, officials say the two shell casings were found in the alley below the 2700 block of West 3rd Street.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are following up on several leads and it is an active investigation.
