Synthetic Drug Bust in Superior

Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities have arrested two suspects in connection with an investigation into narcotics, firearms and stolen property in Superior.

Officers executed a search warrant at a residence along the 1200 Block of Weeks Avenue in Superior. Two suspects were taken into custody on existing warrants. One suspect is expected to be charged with additional counts of Possession with Intent to Deliver Bath Salts, Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Officials say during the search of the residence, about 10 grams of bath salts, nine firearms and over $3,000 were found. Authorities say one of the firearms has already been confirmed as being stolen.

The Superior Police Department along with the Lake Superior Drug and Gang Task Force continue to investigate this bust.
