Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Authorities netted three men this week in connection with the sale of Heroin.

Investigators arrested Gilbert McKenzie, James Turner and Lamarr Barber on charges related to the sale and possession of the drug.

McKenzie, a long time drug dealer in Duluth, was arrested after he sold 14 grams of heroin to a witness who was working with investigators.

McKenzie has a long list of past convictions.

Police say he used the bathroom in the Plaza Super One on Superior Street to sell to customers.

Turner was a passenger in his car.

Authorities arrested Barber in Illinois on Thursday where he was serving parole from a past conviction.

All three are being held at the St. Louis County Jail.

The arrests were a joint effort by the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force along with investigators from the Boundary Waters Drug Task Force.
