Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A trial date is set for the Cook County attorney charged with criminal sexual misconduct.

Attorney Tim Scannell is charged with two counts of fourth degree criminal sexual misconduct for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a Grand Marais girl under the age of 18.

Last week, St. Louis County District Court judge Shaun Floerke decided not to dismiss the indictment against the embattled attorney.

A pre-trial date is expected to start July 3rd.

The jury trial date will begin July 21st.
