Update: Police Identify Alleged Shooter at Minneapolis Sign Company

Minneapolis, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- Police have confirmed the identity of the alleged shooter who killed six people and injured several others in a mass shooting in Minneapolis.

According to KARE 11, 36 year old Andrew Engeldinger has been identified as the alleged shooter.

Officer say Engeldinger was found in the basement with a 9mm semi automatic handgun and a single bullet casing.

Officers sent to search Engeldinger's south Minneapolis home found a second handgun and packaging for at least 10,000 rounds.

It has also been confirmed that Engeldinger lost his job at Accent Signage Systems Inc. the day of the shooting, allegedly killing several of his employees as well as his employer.

Fellow co-workers described the alleged shooter as being quiet and often kept to himself.

Four people have been taken to the hospital, three of which are in critical condition.
