Superior man arrested following West Duluth standoff

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - The Police Department's tactical response team was called in to help end a brief stand-off in West Duluth on Thursday.

Traffic was blocked off along the 600 block of 41st avenue West for nearly an hour while officers arrested a man and executed a search warrant at a home.

A 33 year old Superior Man was taken into custody without incident.
The man was wanted on failure to appear warrants in Douglas County related to synthetics and stolen property.

He is being held in the St. Louis County Jail.
