Carlton, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) --- A Cloquet woman has been charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide for her alleged involvement in a car crash that killed two Northland men.
26 year old Vanessa Brigan has been charged with two counts of criminal vehicular homicide following Monday's deadly car crash that left 25 year old Zachary Gamache of Esko and 29 year old Mitchell Lingren of Duluth dead.
According to the criminal complaint, police detected methadone in Brigan's system when she was apprehended. Police say they noticed fresh needle marks on her skin.
Brigan's bail is set at $80,000. Her next court date is scheduled for October 10th.
A 25 year old Cloquet man has also been arrested for his alleged involvement in the car crash, however his charges for allegedly fleeing the scene due to a warrant are still pending.
