Ashland, WI (NNCNOW.com) -- The woman already serving a life sentence for shooting her ex-husband in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, was sentenced to another life sentence in Wisconsin.
38-year-old Angelina Mae Omara pleaded guilty to first degree murder in connection with the death of her ex-husband James Omara.
Police say Omara then shot 36 year old Michael Pies of Blaine a day later inside an Ashland, Wisconsin motel.
Omara will spend the rest of her life in a Minnesota prison.
Omara was arrested in November 2011 after she shot and killed her boyfriend, 36 year old Michael Pies, inside an Ashland motel room .
He had been shot in the head.
There was strong evidence Omara was connected with the killing of her ex-husband in Sauk Rapids, MN.
The body of James Omara was discovered in his apartment a day prior to the Ashland incident.
Both Pies and Omara were found with pillows covering what appeared to be gunshot wounds to their heads.
Omara was arrested in South Dakota following the incidents.
