Hermantown, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Authorities say speed was likely a factor in an accident involving a car and school bus.
The incident happened along Reinke Road at about 3 p.m. Thursday.
The Hermantown Police Chief says a car was heading southbound on Reinke road when it rear-ended the bus while going over a hill. The Hermantown school bus was dropping off a child when the accident happened.
The car spun and went into a ditch.
The juvenile female driver of the car and the 36 students on board the bus were not hurt.
Parents are picking up students from the bus.
The accident is under investigation.
