Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Four Northland schools have been selected to participate in the School Breakfast Challenge to help give more free breakfasts their students.
Piedmont Elementary School, Washington Elementary in Cloquet, Floodwood Elementary and Floodwood Secondary have been chosen by Hunger-Free Minnesota for the program.
Hunger-Free Minnesota will provide a $0.10 per meal incentive during the 2013-14 school year to participating schools that increase their school breakfast meals served to free-and reduced-price eligible children over the prior school year.
40 schools were selected across the state to participate in the breakfast program.
