Iron, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- More than 100 Iron Range teachers are expected to rally in Iron, MN tomorrow due to unsettled contracts.
According to Education Minnesota, negotiations have dragged on for more than a year and a half between educators in Nashwauk-Keewatin, Carlton and St. Louis County and their districts. Education Minnesota believes that the unsettled contracts are distracting teachers and their communities.
The rally will take place on Tuesday, April 16th at 5pm at the Clinton Community Center in Iron, MN. Education Minnesota President Tom Dooher will be the keynote speaker at the rally.
Education Minnesota represents 70,000 teachers and educational support professionals across the state.
