DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A growing number of students are getting their education online.

Minnesota Connections Academy is one option.

It currently serves more than 1,200 students across Minnesota.

One parent says the online program allows her daughter to move frequently with her family and also gives her a quality education with honors, AP, and post–secondary courses.

"She has help with just the click of the mouse, and she has a live teacher to contact or find out her answers to immediately, I mean, it's just very impressive," said Cecelia Blanchet,

Blanchet says while she's a great supporter of online education she does feel one drawback is the lack of art and music classes.
