Duluth school board member Art Johnston entered a closed session of the board at 4:30 Tuesday evening under protest.
Johnston said he objected to the new amendment put forward requiring board members to disclose whether they would be recording the meeting.
Johnston got into a dispute during the last closed session when he refused to say whether he planned to use a recording device he was carrying.
The Duluth School Board's bylaws forbid the use of recording devices during closed sessions.
