DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - The College of St. Scholastica held its centennial kick-off rally today in Mitchell Auditorium.
Food, drums and cheerleaders were part of the celebration.
This weekend numerous events will be held at the campus, including a band concert, whose members are deaf, Friday and a winter carnival Saturday.
The celebration isn't meant for only those who work or attend the college.
"We want to include everyone of all abilities and of all lifestyles and St. Scholastica has always been that way, that we really want to celebrate with everyone," said Bob Ashenmacher, the communcations executive director.
This year in September the college will have been open 100 years.
