Duluth, MN (Northlands NewsCenter)
-- Students at the Harbor City International School got the chance to put the ideal gas law to the test...underwater...at the YMCA today.

Science students were able to see first hand the expansion of volume with changing pressure first hand with scuba and snorkel gear.

Educators at Harbor City say they want students to experience first hand how pressure influences volume.

They hope that seeing it will help the information stick after high school.

"My idea is if I can get the kids feeling and touching and going and doing this science they will remember it and will be ready when they go to the college level"

Harbor City International School is a tuition free public high school that strives college preparation with small class sizes.
