DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) -A $600,000 grant will allow the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College to train workers for aircraft jobs.

The grant will be used in a partnership with Kestrel Aircraft to create a new training program, which will be the first of its kind.

The new associate degree in composite technology will help fill jobs for qualified aircraft fabrication workers.

WITC is one of five Wisconsin technical colleges sharing the $3.8 million from the Wisconsin Workforce Partnership Grants.
