Bacon Ice Cream - Real cooked and candied bacon in ice cream with a hint of maple flavor. Location: Rainbow Ice Cream, Five different locations including Carousel Park, Underwood St. north of Dan Patch Ave., Underwood St. south of Dan Patch Ave., Carnes Ave. at Liggett St., and inside the Agriculture Horticulture Building.

    Breakfast Sliders - Trio of sliders (steak, Cajun sausage and ham) served with scrambled eggs, homemade garlic mayo and topped with cheese and green onions. Location: Ragin Cajun, Located in The Garden, on the corner of Dan Patch Ave. and Underwood St.

The gates to the Great Minnesota Get Together opened early this morning as thousands flooded the fair grounds to check out the animals, rides and most importantly the food.
