Minneapolis, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- The phrase "Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks" may have to change to "Buy me some walleye and mac n' cheese".
Last week, ahead of the 2013 Season Opener for the Minnesota Twins, chefs at Target Field revealed their new line up of food at the concession stands, and it's hitting quite the home run with fans.
This year's additions feature several regional specialty foods highlighted by Mac's Fish and Chips of St. Paul, Sheboygan Sausage Co. of Alexandria, Panino's Baked Sandwiches of North Oaks, and celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern's AZ Canteen of Minneapolis.
"The Twins will continue to make food and beverage offerings a top priority to enhance the overall gameday experience at Target Field," Twins president Dave St. Peter said. "The high quality products, local favorites and unparalleled selection have played a significant role in making Target Field one of America's greatest sports venues."
