DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - Work on a project aimed at improving water delivery to the Duluth Highland Water Zone area is making progress. Crews will be working on a water main connection for the new elevated Highland
Storage Tank in Duluth Heights on Monday, October 18.

The new tank will double the current water storage capacity and be able to meet the current and future needs of residents and businesses in the area.

As a result of this upgrade, residents along Basswood Avenue between Ideal Street and the northerly dead end will experience a water outage during the specified time.

In addition, the areas of Duluth Heights, Miller Hill Mall, Upper Piedmont, Duluth Airport and the Air National Guard base may experience lower water pressure.
