Duluth, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - A retired Twin Cities News Anchor tackled the issue of global climate change in Duluth Tuesday night.
Don Shelby, a WCCO anchor for three decades, helped kick off UMD'S sustainability fair.
He shared his talk, entitled "The most important story since journalism began" with a number of students, professors and community members.
Shelby says climate change is a phenomenon that can not be disputed.
"Over 97 to 98% of peer based reviews find that human induced global warming is upon us," Shelby told the audience.
The UMD Sustainability Fair will continue Wednesday with events throughout the day touching on subjects like mineral resources and the UMD energy action plan.
