Virginia, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) An investigation by the Boundary Waters drug and gang task force has led to multiple arrests on the Iron Range.
According to our partners at the Mesabi Daily News 10 people were taken into custody and are facing drug charges for their alleged drug use stemming from a narcotics investigation.
27 year old Travis White of Hibbing is facing two counts second degree sale of a controlled substance in the second degree, fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He will next be in court in Hibbing June 23.
30 year old Amber Funk of Virginia is facing two felony charges of second degree controlled substance crime in a school, park or public housing zone, one count of third degree possession of meth, and a charge of storing meth paraphernalia in the presence of a child or vulnerable adult.
She’ll be in court Monday in Virginia on June 16.
18 year old Robert Jackson of Hibbing was arrested on charges of fourth degree sales of a controlled substance.
He’ll be back in court on June 16th.
20 year old Kyle Schleicher, of Hibbing is charged with one felony count of fourth degree sales of a controlled substance.
He was in court Monday.
17 year old Cooper Jensen, of Hibbing was charged with one count of third degree sales of a controlled substance.
He’ll be in court on June 28.
17 year old Luke Lustila of Eveleth is charged with one felony count of third degree sale of a controlled substance.
He will be in court on Tuesday.
60 year old Gary Quigley, and 57 year old Gary George, both of Ely were arrested at an Ely residence in May.
Quigley faces one count of fifth degree possession of marijuana and George faces one charge of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance.
Both are scheduled to appear in a Virginia courtroom on the 13th.
24 year old Addison Incontro of Hibbing is charged with fifth degree sale of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a small amount of marijuana and one of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He’ll be in court again on June 30th in Hibbing.
52 year old Sheila Humphrey of Chisholm, is charged with two felony counts including second degree sales of a controlled substance in a school, park or public housing zone and third degree sales of a controlled substance.
Her next court appearance will be Friday in Virginia.
Drugs found during the investigation include meth, cocaine, marijuana, morphine pills, Alprazolam pills, and Adderall pills.
