Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A new production company is planning to begin shooting a Feature film on the Iron Range in the spring.
The Film, called "Thanksgiving at Denny's" is a Griffin Productions and Washington Square Films.
Thanksgiving at Denny's is a dramatic adult comedy about a bi-polar, overweight computer programmer who gets laid off from his job in Chicago, then returns to his hometown.
The film's production president, Jerry Seppala, is an Iron Range native, and says his company intends to shoot multiple feature films in Minnesota over the next decade.
North East Film Board executive director Riki Mc Manus says they are working closely with the company.
Mc Manus says the decision to shoot on the Iron Range came down to finding a location with the right feel for the story, and the visual versatility of the area.
