St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A task force assigned to design a Health Insurance Exchange for the state of Minnesota is making progress ahead of the 2013 legislative session.
The task force consists of 15 members including consumers, employers, labor, health care providers, health insurers, Medicaid and Agents.
The exchange will be a new online marketplace where families and small businesses can get affordable insurance that fits their budget.
The office of Minnesota Management and Budget says it will offer a website and hotline where you can search and compare plans.
Officials expect it will serve 20 percent of the state.
The taskforce is expected to make recommendations to the legislature once the session gets underway.
