St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie is estimating nearly three million state voters will cast ballots during Tuesday's election.
That's nearly 80% of the state's voters.
Not to worry, Ritchie says the state can handle high voter turnout because of the 30,000 Minnesotans who serve as election judges.
The secretary of state says thousands of township, city and county election staff work long hours, before, during and after the election to make sure each vote is accurately counted.
Minnesota allows same day registration at the polls.
