DULUTH, MN (Northland's NewsCenter) - 8th District Candidate Tarryl Clark gave her concession speech at Black Woods in Duluth, coming in second behind Rick Nolan.

Clark had had the endorsement of President Bill Clinton as well as the most financial backing of the three DFL candidates.

Close to midnight, she hugged her campaign team, acknowledged their hard work and thanked her supporters.

Clark said she believes job creation will play a large part in the election and hopes communities will come together.

"The most important thing that we can be doing now is focusing on making sure that we're returning our values that we figure out ways to make sure our families and our communities are going to once again be the priorities regardless of what anybody's party is, regardless of what they're thinking. We know that for our middle class families, we know for our kids in our future, we've got to do that," said Clark.

Clark says she has called and congratulated Rick Nolan.
