Authorities Ask for Public Assistance in Blackduck Motel Robbery

Blackduck, MN (NNCNOW.com) -- The investigation continues into the armed robbery that occurred at the AmericInn Motel in Blackduck, Minnesota on New Year's Eve.

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help locate and identify the suspect.

According to Officials, authorities responded to the call of a robbery at the AmericInn Motel on New Year's Eve around 7:20pm.

Authorities say a man entered the motel through the front lobby and demanded cash from the clerk.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect left on foot headed west toward the American Legion.

The suspect is described as being six foot tall, possibly in his early 20's with a deep voice. Witnesses say he was wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a bright orange mask covering his face.
