St. Paul, MN (NNCNOW.com) - State Senator Roger Reinert (DFL-Duluth) has reintroduced a bill in the legislature that would allow liquor sales on Sundays.
The bill would repeal a ban that says off-sale licensees can't sell on Sundays, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The Minnesota Licensed Beverage Association opposed the bill when the DFL Senator first introduced it in 2011.
The bill wouldn't force liquor stores to be open on Sundays, but it would give them the option.
